Delete Your Potty Pal Account
This page explains how to delete your account for the Potty Pal app, published by Kinetic Flux, LLC, and what happens to your data when you do.
Delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the app:
- Open Potty Pal and go to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Follow the confirmation prompts to permanently delete your account
Deletion takes effect immediately: you are signed out and your account can no longer be accessed. This action cannot be undone.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, you can request deletion using the contact form on our Support page. Send the request from the email address associated with your account and use the subject "Account deletion request". We process these requests within 30 days and will confirm by email when your account has been deleted.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the following within 30 days:
- Your account profile, including your email address and name
- Your dog profiles and uploaded dog photos
- Your activity history (feeding, potty, walk, and other logged activities)
- Your family memberships and invitations
- Your notification preferences and app settings
What is kept
We retain a limited set of records after deletion, only where necessary:
- Transaction and subscription records we are required to keep for tax, accounting, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes. Payments themselves are processed by Apple and Google, so we never hold your payment card details.
- Anonymized, aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you.
Subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings to avoid future charges.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can delete individual items at any time without closing your account: any logged activity can be deleted from the activity history, and dog profiles (including their photos and activity history) can be deleted from the dog's settings.
